Job Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced professional to manage the planning, design, and implementation of our public transport infrastructure projects. The successful candidate will oversee the full lifecycle of vital communications and signalling projects—from concept through to installation and commissioning—ensuring seamless integration with existing systems and compliance with relevant laws and regulations.

The ideal candidate will have a strong leadership, project, and contract management skills with a track record of guiding multidisciplinary teams, consultants, and contractors to successful outcomes. They will also possess excellent stakeholder engagement and highly developed interpersonal and communication skills for collaboration across senior public and private sector stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the planning, design, and implementation of public transport infrastructure projects.
  • Oversee the full lifecycle of communications and signalling projects from concept to commissioning.
  • Ensure seamless integration with existing systems and compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
  • Manage risk, project planning, procurement, contracts, and performance across multidisciplinary teams.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • A recognised engineering degree and eligibility for Engineers Australia membership.
  • Proven expertise in rollingstock planning, design, and construction.
  • Strong leadership, project, and contract management skills with a track record of guiding multidisciplinary teams, consultants, and contractors to successful outcomes.
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and highly developed interpersonal and communication skills for collaboration across senior public and private sector stakeholders.
