Specialist Child Health Care Professional

This role presents a unique opportunity to specialise in Paediatric Oncology, delivering high-quality medical services and participating in clinical duties. As a Fellow-level clinician, you'll be responsible for upholding the values of the organisation and participating in an active teaching program.
Key Responsibilities:- Undertake Regular Assessment and Performance Review
- Participate in unit and facility-based educational programs and meet mandatory training requirements
- Provide clinical Outreach services to contribute to Paediatric Oncology services throughout Queensland, with consultant supervision
- Inpatient, outpatient, and consultative clinical services in malignant haematology, bone marrow transplant, neuro-oncology, and solid tumour oncology
- Work as part of the Oncology on-call and after-hours rosters
- Supervise Junior Medical Staff and Provide Leadership and Performance Management
- Prepare and present at Paediatric Oncology meetings
- Ensure appropriate documentation through all phases of patient care
- Participate in the training and teaching of Junior Medical Staff, Medical Students, and other members of the multidisciplinary team
- Engage in continuing professional development, including attendance at relevant national and international conferences
- Participate in research and quality assurance programs in areas relevant to Paediatric Oncology & Haematology
