Plumbing Apprentice

We are seeking a Year 10 student to undertake a School–based Traineeship at our Plumbing branch in Rouse Hill. As an apprentice, you will work towards a Certificate II in Supply Chain Operations, gaining hands-on experience in the plumbing industry.

• Certificate Requirements: Complete all necessary requirements for the Certificate II in Supply Chain Operations, including workbooks, on-the-job training, and assessments.
• Processing Sales: Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently, maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.
• Stock Management: Manage inventory levels, ensuring accurate stock records and efficient stock replenishment.
• Answering Phone Calls: Respond to phone calls, taking messages and orders from customers in a professional manner.
• Communicating with Customers and Staff: Effectively communicate with customers and colleagues, building strong relationships and fostering a positive work environment.
• Building Product Knowledge: Develop and maintain extensive knowledge of plumbing products, providing expert advice to customers.
• Providing Follow-up Services: Offer follow-up services to customers, ensuring their needs are met and exceeding expectations.

Estimated Salary: AU$30,000 - AU$40,000 per annum (dependent on experience).

This position involves working approximately one and a half days per week, with flexibility to work additional hours during school holidays. We require applicants with Saturday availability and a willingness to learn and develop their skills in the plumbing trade.
