We are looking for a skilled Electrical Fire Technician / Fire Alarm Installer to take on a leadership role within our organization. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional organizational skills and a proactive, solution-oriented mindset, capable of working independently as well as guiding a team.
Key Responsibilities:- Installation of fire detection and alarm systems in accordance with applicable Australian Standards.
- Conducting tests on dry fire services as per relevant Australian Standards, including the programming of fire panels.
- Interpreting and adhering to technical plans and instructions.
- Utilizing ladders and scaffolding safely.
- Performing tasks in confined spaces and at heights.
- Collaborating effectively with team members and working independently.
- Possession of a white card (general construction induction card) is required.
- A minimum of 1 year of experience in the Fire Industry, specifically in construction rather than maintenance.
- A valid driver's license.
- Capability to follow plans, provide clear instructions, and oversee a small team.
- Familiarity with relevant Australian Standards for the fire servicing sector, particularly AS 1670 and AS 1851.
- Understanding of WHS procedures and the ability to adhere to them.
- Attractive salary with weekly payments.
- Possibility of a vehicle allowance or a fully covered company car.
