Electrician Maintenance Specialist

A reputable electrical services provider on the Gold Coast is seeking a skilled electrician to undertake residential and commercial maintenance work across the region.
Job OverviewThis role involves performing electrical tasks, including switchboard inspections, emergency lighting maintenance, LED lighting installations, and appliance repairs. You will also be responsible for managing daily tasks, quoting, and maintaining a safe work environment.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of electrical systems and be able to work independently with minimal supervision. A competitive salary package is offered, including commission-based earnings, recognition, and career development opportunities.
Key Responsibilities- Perform electrical maintenance and repairs at residential and commercial properties
- Conduct switchboard inspections and upgrades as required
- Maintain and install emergency lighting systems
- Install and upgrade LED lighting fixtures
- Repair and replace electrical appliances
- Manage daily tasks, including job logging and scheduling
- Maintain a safe work environment, adhering to all relevant safety protocols
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- QLD Electrical Licence or equivalent state/territory licence
- White Card
- National Police Check
- Blue Card
- CPR/LVR Certification
- Valid Open Driver's Licence
Prior experience in solar system installation and fault finding would be beneficial, as would proficiency in data and AV services. Holding an Air Conditioning and Refrigeration Licence, EWP Licence, or High-Risk Working at Heights certification may also be advantageous.
