About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join Mtesa's team of skilled technicians, working on industrial, commercial, and domestic refrigeration, air-conditioning, and heating systems.

A typical day in this role will involve installing, testing, servicing, and repairing these systems, ensuring they operate efficiently and safely.

Responsibilities
  • Install, test, service, and repair industrial, commercial, and domestic refrigeration, air-conditioning, and heating systems
  • Work on a range of settings, from residential homes to commercial and industrial facilities
  • Conduct operational tests on refrigeration systems, checking mechanisms and making adjustments
  • Perform preventative maintenance inspections on various installations
  • Evaluate and comply with local and national regulations
  • Carry out fault-finding and troubleshooting
Requirements
  • Certificate II in Electrotechnology or equivalent experience
  • Ability to work with hand and power tools
  • Enjoy and have an aptitude for technical work
  • Able to work patiently, systematically, and thoroughly
  • Normal colour vision
  • Able to work as part of a team
  • Good communication skills
