Role Overview

This part-time position requires a highly organized and efficient Cleaner/Laundry Assistant to join our team. The successful candidate will have:

  • A minimum of 43 hours work per fortnight
  • Mornings only shifts on Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays
Key Responsibilities

As a Cleaner/Laundry Assistant, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Ensuring all cleaning requirements are met each shift
  • Interacting with residents in a friendly, helpful, and positive manner
  • Performing routine cleaning tasks in resident rooms, common areas, offices, and other designated areas of the facility, following established cleaning protocols
  • Reporting any maintenance issues or concerns to the appropriate department for prompt resolution
  • Adhering to infection control policies and procedures to minimize the risk of infection transmission
  • Following safe work practices and using personal protective equipment (PPE) as required
  • Collaborating with other staff members to support a clean and comfortable living environment for residents
