Key Responsibilities


As the On Road Supervisor, you will play a critical role in assisting waste drivers and operators with any issues that arise during their duties. Your primary focus will be on ensuring the safe performance of these duties without risk to health, safety, quality, and the environment.



Key Accountabilities


Reporting to the Operations Manager, your key responsibilities will include:



  • Coordinating bin collections to maximise route efficiency
  • Administration, including managing driver hours and reporting duties across the site
  • Problem-solving by responding to customer and driver issues that are of immediate operational concern, with a solutions-focused approach
  • Site safety inspections for new and existing sites
  • Responding to any operational queries raised by customers and/or drivers
  • Attending daily end-of-driver shift meetings to capture any incidents or issues


Requirements


To be successful in this role, you will need to possess:



  • Good computer and general communication skills
  • Proficiency in Excel, Google Suite, and AS400
  • The ability to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Strong people skills, including a strong ability to communicate and negotiate
  • A strong focus on health and safety

In addition, you will be required to undergo a National Police Clearance and medical check relevant to the role.
