Job Opportunity

A challenging opportunity exists for a Class 3 Swing Garbage Truck Driver to collect solid waste, read route sheets and service each customer identified on the sheet or assigned by dispatchers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Safely operate a garbage truck on specified routes to collect solid waste.
  • Read route sheets and service each customer identified on the sheet or assigned by dispatchers.
  • Perform routine post and pre-route inspections on vehicles, including checking fluids, safety equipment, and tires.
  • Have professional and courteous interactions with customers when needed.
  • Perform other miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 3 years of commercial driving experience with a clean abstract.
  • Class 3 or higher driver's license.
  • Excellent spatial skills to position vehicle and bins effectively and drive accident-free.
  • Effective communication skills to convey information to dispatchers and customers.
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment physical and drug test.
