Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and passionate Music Therapist to join our team. As a Music Therapist, you will work with children and their families to develop and implement music-based therapy plans that promote cognitive, emotional, and social development.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess and develop music therapy plans for children with diverse needs
  • Implement music-based therapy sessions that promote cognitive, emotional, and social development
  • Collaborate with speech pathologists and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care
  • Conduct ongoing assessments and evaluations to monitor progress and adjust therapy plans as needed
Requirements
  • Masters Degree in Music Therapy
  • Registration with Australian Music Therapy Association
  • Working with Children's Check
  • Professional Indemnity Insurance
  • Rights to work in Australia
  • Proof of COVID-19 vaccination
  • Neurodiversity-affirming, person-centered approach to therapy
