Early Childhood Educator Role

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Early Childhood Educator to contribute to the academic, social, and emotional development of young children.

Main Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with the team leader and educational leader to develop high-quality curriculum programs that cater to diverse learner needs.
  • Nurture positive relationships with children, staff, and families, promoting a safe, inclusive environment that fosters growth and learning.
  • Contribute to observation records showcasing children's progress and achievements.
  • Plan engaging learning experiences aligned with the Australian EYLF (Early Years Learning Framework) and promote cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development.
  • Maintain accurate records of children's learning and development, adhering to national regulations and quality standards.
  • Foster collaborative relationships with colleagues and the wider community, participating in professional development opportunities and contributing to critical reflections on practice.
About You

Key Requirements:

  • A committed Christian with a deep desire to serve Jesus Christ as Lord.
  • Demonstrated passion for biblically-based Christian education.
  • Commitment to the Christian ethos and Statement of Faith.
  • A personal commitment to delivering a Christian-based education to children.
  • Certificate III in Children's Services approved by ACECQA (or working towards an Early Childhood Education qualification).
  • Understanding and knowledge of the National Quality Framework and the Early Years Learning Framework.
  • Ability to cope effectively under pressure in emergency or stressful situations.
  • Thorough understanding and implementation of a play-based curriculum.
  • Competent computer skills to manage documentation and use technology tools to support learning.
  • Behaviour management skills reflecting restorative practices and the ability to develop and demonstrate positive behaviour strategies.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, including the ability to work collaboratively and communicate clearly.
  • Valid Working With Children Check, RRHAN-EC, and Senior First Aid certification.
