About the Role


We are seeking an experienced Clinical Lead to join our team and provide leadership and support to our clinical staff in developing and growing our Home Care Package business within the Gold Coast region.



Job Description



  • Lead and manage clinical staff from multiple disciplines to deliver exceptional care to our clients.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant legislation and organisational policies.
  • Provide clinical oversight, expertise, and support to staff.
  • Drive the delivery of top-tier clinical services, integrating best practice while adhering to organisational standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Monitor and evaluate clinical performance and outcomes contributing to continuous improvement whilst maintaining clinical standards.
  • Engage in quality assurance activities and lead service improvements through evidence-based interventions and care initiatives.
  • Foster a positive and collaborative team environment.
  • Work closely with the Branch Manager and Care Managers to ensure service growth.
  • Develop, implement, and review care plans tailored to individual client needs.
  • Liaise with clients, families, and healthcare professionals as part of a comprehensive care model.
  • Foster strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and team members, whilst assisting clients in meeting their unique needs and goals.
  • Monitor and evaluate care services to continuously improve quality and efficiency.


Salary and Benefits


The successful candidate will receive a competitive salary of $120,000 - $150,000 per annum, commensurate with experience. In addition, Ozcare offers a range of benefits, including 5 weeks' annual leave, annual leave loading, optional salary packaging, meal entertainment cards, novated leases, private health insurance discounts, uniform and laundry allowance, and access to an Employee Assistance Program.



Requirements



  • Holds a tertiary qualification in Nursing, Occupational Therapy or other allied health disciplines.
  • Holds a current Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) Registration.
  • Has a minimum of 5 years post-qualifying practice experience in the implementation of person-centred care within a community, aged care or disability setting.
  • Demonstrated capacity to provide effective leadership, mentoring and coaching with experience in providing clinical leadership and supervision.
  • Show demonstrated strong verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills to communicate and work effectively with a broad range of people.
  • Provides proof of immunity, or willingness to become vaccinated against, Measles, Mumps, Rubella (MMR), Varicella (Chicken Pox) & Pertussis (Whooping Cough).
  • Provides a current Police Screening Certificate.
  • Holds a current First Aid and CPR Certificate.
  • Supply a current NDIS Worker Screening Check (Yellow Card) and Blue Card (Working with Children Check).
  • Holds a current Queensland driver's licence.
