About the Role

This Full Time position is a great opportunity to work as part of a team or individually to Construct, Maintain & Decommission telecommunications networks in NSW - Wetherill Park. You will be responsible for Building, Maintaining, and Decommissioning Telecommunication Networks, including but not limited to Optus, Uecomm, NBN, Telstra, TPG, Telco Authorities and Power Utility.

Key Responsibilities

As Field Telecommunications Network Engineer, you will work onsite/in field as part of one or multiple crews daily, working from ladders & EWP's (Elevated Work Platform). You will be willing and able to be part of a rostered-On Call Availability, including working outside normal working hours on a regular basis. Additionally, you will participate in actual site start up (i.e., mandatory pre-start activities) and works in coordination with related 3rd parties such as landowners and regulatory authorities (e.g., power utility, council & transport).

In this role, you will gain experience and competencies including but not limited to Licence to Operate a Boom-Type Elevating Work Platform (Boom Length 11 Metres or More) [WP], Working safely at Heights, Working safely near live electrical apparatus as a non-electrical worker, Implement traffic management plan, Provide First Aid, Perform Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR). You will also have opportunities to communicate/report on scheduled works changes or to Field Supervisor.

We estimate that your salary for this role will be around $90,000 - $110,000 per annum depending on your qualifications and experience.
