About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and passionate English Tutor to join our team at Matrix Education. As an English Tutor, you will have the opportunity to work with students who are eager to improve their writing skills and achieve academic success.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver one-on-one workshops to English students, providing personalized guidance and support.
  • Assist English Teachers with administrative tasks, ensuring a smooth and efficient learning environment.
  • Perform additional duties as required by the Senior Tutor, contributing to the overall success of the team.
Requirements
  • Achieved band 6 results in HSC English Advanced, demonstrating a strong understanding of the subject.
  • A keen interest in literature, theatre, and films, with the ability to inspire and motivate students.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, enabling effective communication with students and colleagues.
  • A minimum of six months' experience in tutoring, customer service, or administration, showcasing your ability to work with diverse groups.
  • Current studies in Arts, Education, Literature, or Media related fields will be highly regarded, indicating a strong foundation in the subject area.
