**Job Title:** Underground Mine Manager

Job Description

This position involves leading and managing operational teams at an underground mine site. The successful candidate will oversee day-to-day activities, generate operating plans, and contribute to the success of the operation.

The ideal candidate will have experience in large-scale underground mining operations, including project start-up and multi-site management. They will also be skilled in planning, budgeting, and cost estimation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Direct and manage operational teams, including contractors and Northern Star Mining Services.
  • Develop and implement operating plans that align with company objectives.
  • Collaborate with geology, engineering, and production teams to develop mine design and planning strategies.
  • Optimize mining processes through efficient planning and execution.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Competent user of Deswik software packages.
  • Strong knowledge of Work Health and Safety regulations.
  • First Class Mine Manager's Certificate of Competency and WA Underground Supervisors Certificate of Competency.
