Job Title:

We are seeking an experienced Mental Health Specialist to join our team.

Job Description:

The successful candidate will provide expert advice and support to ensure the wellbeing of team members. This includes managing a caseload of psychological injury claims, providing recommendations and support to agile teams, and delivering cross-functional support and tailored strategies for complex team member wellbeing needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Managing a caseload of psychological injury claims
  • Providing expert recovery support
  • Delivering cross-functional support and tailored strategies for complex team member wellbeing needs
  • Building capability in specialist teams on wellbeing and psychological aspects
  • Support with reporting, data, timelines & trends within the organisation

Requirements:

  • Tertiary qualification in mental health with ideally 5+ years' relevant occupational experience (psychology, occupational therapy, mental health or equivalent)
  • Human-centred approach, leveraging expertise and best practices
  • Experience relaying complex information into actionable insights, solving problems collaboratively and calmly under pressure
  • Knowledge of workers' compensation and injury management
  • Knowledge of workplace wellbeing drivers and psychosocial risk mitigation strategies with hands-on support experience
  • Proven ability to influence, build relationships, and deliver change within a fast-paced, adaptable environment
