Job Summary:

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Personal Care Assistant to join our team at Conexson, a leading specialist Disability & Aged Care staffing agency. As a Personal Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to individuals with disabilities and their families.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide personal care and support to clients, including assistance with daily living activities, mobility, and communication.
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with clients, their families, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Work collaboratively with Support Coordinators to ensure the best possible outcomes for clients.
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance your skills and knowledge.
  • Contribute to a safe and respectful work environment, adhering to Conexson's values and policies.

Requirements:

  • National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) Worker Screening Check/Yellow Card.
  • Blue Card preferred.
  • Certificate 3 in Individual Support or equivalent/Aphra Registration.
  • First Aid and CPR Certificate.
  • Driver's license and reliable transport.
  • Fully COVID vaccinated as per QLD Health Regulations.
  • Flu Vaccination.
  • Valid rights to work in Australia (Passport, Birth Cert., etc.).
  • Manual Handling Training and Hoist experience.
