Innovative Midwifery Research Fellow

Edith Cowan University is offering a Postdoctoral Research Fellowship in midwifery to contribute to the development of evidence-based initiatives that positively impact childbirth satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:- Design and conduct research studies with guidance from senior researchers
- Collaborate with health service partners, maternity care consumers, and other stakeholders to advance midwifery research capacity
- Engage with research students and support their academic progress
- Publish and disseminate research findings to promote the university's values of integrity, respect, rational inquiry, personal excellence, and courage
The successful candidate will lead a program of work focused on developing, testing, and implementing innovative midwifery initiatives. As a postdoctoral researcher, you will demonstrate your expertise in designing and conducting high-quality research, as well as your ability to engage effectively with diverse stakeholders.
Requirements:- PhD in a relevant field, such as midwifery or a related discipline
- Experience in conducting research, including study design, data collection, and analysis
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with health service partners and other stakeholders
- Demonstrated commitment to advancing midwifery research capacity and promoting excellence in academic practice
