Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Migration Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading data migration projects, ensuring seamless integration of data between systems, and maintaining high data quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Data Migration and Integration: Proactively identify, evaluate, and mitigate potential risks and challenges, maintaining a solution-focused mindset throughout the data migration lifecycle.
  • Source and Target System Analysis: Facilitate the detailed analysis and validation of both source and target systems, ensuring accurate data mapping and integration.
  • Data Mapping and Validation: Engage in detailed mapping workshops, ensuring source-to-target mappings are in line with the Ceridian model for precise data integration.
  • Technical Setup and Preparation: Aid in the technical setup and preparation of environments, setting the stage for successful data migration efforts.
  • Data Testing and Reconciliation: Validate the accuracy and integrity of migrated data through comprehensive testing and reconciliation efforts.
  • Test Planning and Execution: Develop and execute comprehensive test plans for integration, performance, and mock conversions.
  • Dress Rehearsal and Validation: Oversee Dress Rehearsal activities, ensuring a thorough validation process.
  • Data Quality Standards: Assist with establishment and implementation of data quality standards based on initial data profiling and insights from SMEs.
  • Remediation and Security: Undertake remediation in source systems as required by data quality rules and help with identification of security requirements and compliance standards for data migration.
  • Data Ingestion and Loading: Support extraction of source data and cleansing of data, ensuring quality and accuracy, and design and develop interfaces for data ingestion and loading into target templates.
  • Reporting and Reconciliation: Prepare and execute unit test scripts, perform data reconciliation, and develop detailed reconciliation reports.
  • Communication and Stakeholder Management: Maintain excellent communication skills and work closely with stakeholders to ensure successful project outcomes.

Requirements:

  • Demonstrate expertise in data migration projects, with a preference for experience in HR systems like Ceridian Dayforce or similar.
  • Mastery of data migration methodologies, including proficiency in SQL, ETL processes, and data mapping.
  • A solid foundation in data quality management, cleansing, and reconciliation.
  • Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and communication capabilities, paired with strong stakeholder management skills.

Duration: 6 Months and possible extension
