Aerial Firefighting Pilot Role

Our organization is seeking an experienced single-pilot captain to join our Citation V operations in Richmond, New South Wales, Australia. This role involves supporting Australian states and emergency service organizations with the provision of heavy aircraft and experienced team members.

This position requires flexibility and the possibility of working away from home base at short notice.

The successful applicant will have the opportunity to work in a unique aviation role and team environment, contributing to various missions such as crew/equipment transport, reconnaissance, and intel scanning.

Missions may also include bird dog/lead plane operations, air attack, and observation in support of firefighting and/or flood response, search and rescue, disaster mitigation, and related operations.

  • Requirements:
    • Australian ATPL(A)
    • 2000 hours pilot-in-command experience
    • 500 hours PIC IFR experience
    • Australian Class 1 medical
    • Low-level rating
    • The right to live and work in Australia
