Job Title: Procurement Specialist

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Procurement Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our procurement function, you will be responsible for coordinating, managing and conducting tender and agreement management activities in support of business activities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Tender Management: Deliver subcontract management expertise for the lifecycle of subcontracts and supplier agreements required to support the business.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with supply chain and internal colleagues to be aware of all active and developing subcontract issues.
  • Performance Review: Review and manage subcontractor performance, ensuring that agreement(s) deliver value for money and are aligned to the agreed strategies of the business/ program.
  • Issue Resolution: Lead / co-ordinate / support the resolution of sub-contractual conflicts, claims and issues.
  • Advice and Guidance: Provide advice, guidance and interpretation with regard to all sub-contractual matters in the achievement of business objectives.
  • Supplier Relationship Management: Collaborate with colleagues to execute effective supplier relationship management and drive continuous improvements within the relevant subcontract arrangements
  • Customer Support: Provide the necessary service and collaboration/support to the programs, internal and external customers to maintain and expand business opportunities
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field such as Business Administration, Procurement or Supply Chain Management.
  • Minimum 5 years experience in procurement or a related field.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Familiarity with procurement software and systems.
