About Automated Testing Roles

Job Overview

We are seeking skilled professionals to fill automated testing positions.

This role involves creating and overseeing test plans and strategies, including those using Azure DevOps. You will write, review, and execute test cases for web-based applications, prioritising testing efforts and managing test case execution.

You will work within multi-disciplinary project teams to analyse documented specifications, user stories, and requirements to generate test cases and test plans. Additionally, you will raise defects, log, and track faults using departmental tools like Azure DevOps.

You will also provide advice and contribute to testing strategies while supporting the implementation of automation testing practices. Ensuring digital solutions comply with Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) is a key responsibility. Engaging with business stakeholders throughout the User Acceptance Testing (UAT) process is essential.

Key Requirements
  • A proven track record in automated testing, with strong software testing abilities.
  • Proficiency in creating test artefacts, such as writing, reviewing, and executing detailed test plans and cases, as well as developing test strategies.
  • Strong ability to collaborate effectively within a cross-functional team, including Product Owners, Business Analysts, Architects, Application Developers, Web Developers, and Subject Matter Experts.
  • In-depth knowledge of testing digital solutions for conformance with Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG).
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with non-technical stakeholders.
