Transport Planner Role OverviewSenior Planner Position in Active Transport Team

We are seeking a skilled professional to join our active transport team as a senior planner. The successful candidate will play a key role in shaping and enhancing our communities for today and tomorrow.

Job Description

This is an opportunity to provide technical advice and detailed analysis for the completion of studies that will inform the development and improvement of Council's active transport network.

The ideal candidate will have expertise in traffic engineering, transport planning, and project scoping. They will be capable of preparing and reviewing high-quality technical reports and briefs, and will possess strong stakeholder engagement skills.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Proven experience in traffic engineering, transport planning, and project scoping
  • Sharp analytical skills with the ability to prepare and review high-quality technical reports and briefs
  • Strong stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to build positive relationships across all levels
  • Master of time management with the ability to juggle priorities to meet deadlines
