Our organization is a major public teaching hospital in Western Sydney, committed to excellence in patient care, research, and innovation. We support a diverse workforce and foster collaboration across clinical and non-clinical teams.


Your Role and Responsibilities
  • Investigate and resolve duplicate patient registrations to ensure accurate and reliable data.
  • Be the main contact for updates to key patient identifiers (e.g., name, DOB, address).
  • Perform routine data quality checks and report on findings to identify areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate with Health Information and Records Service team to optimize data management processes.
  • Support hybrid record management in preparation for SDPR rollout to enhance patient experience.

Selection Criteria
  • Experience in an administrative or customer service position and/or knowledge and experience in health administrative functions.
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritise and organise your workload so that you are able to meet deadlines.
  • Proven attention to detail with the ability to identify and correct errors.
  • Developed computer skills and/or experience with document imaging, patient administrations systems and Microsoft Office suite.
  • Excellent customer service skills with sound oral and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to work as a productive team member, contribute to a positive team culture and work across all facilities as required.
  • Demonstrated understanding of privacy and confidentiality principles and how they are applied in the hospital setting.
