As a steel fixer, you will have the opportunity to work on major construction sites in Central Gold Coast and surrounding areas.

Job Description

You will be responsible for installing steel reinforcement in concrete structures, working closely with other tradespeople to ensure projects are completed on time and to a high standard.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • A valid white card is essential for this role, demonstrating your commitment to workplace safety.
  • Trade qualifications or at least 3+ years of steel fixing experience are required, showcasing your expertise in the field.
  • The correct Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) must be worn at all times, including a hard hat, long pants, steel cap boots, gloves, and high-vis work gear.
  • Ability to safely operate hand tools and power tools is crucial for this role.
  • Formwork and concreting experience is necessary, enabling you to work efficiently and effectively.
  • Ability to read plans and drawings is vital for ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Reliability and punctuality are essential qualities for this role, as you will be working as part of a team.
  • Owning a car and license is preferred but not essential, providing flexibility in your commute.
