Job Description:

The Satcom Engineer will be responsible for designing, implementing and maintaining satellite communication systems. This role requires a highly skilled professional with experience in satellite communications and the ability to work within a secure environment.

  • Design and configure satellite communication systems and networks
  • Perform system analysis, troubleshooting and performance optimization
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and integrate new solutions
  • Ensure compliance with security protocols and standards
  • Prepare and maintain detailed documentation for system designs, configurations and procedures
  • Conduct regular system tests and updates to ensure reliability and efficiency

Required Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 1 year's experience in satellite communications
  • Understanding of RF, satellite link budgets and modulation techniques
  • Experience with satellite communication hardware and software
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Active security clearance or the ability to obtain one
