Role Overview

A forward-thinking data professional is required to spearhead the modernization of a leading bank's customer entitlements platform and Identity and Access Management. The current landscape comprises multiple data sources, databases, and hundreds of stored procedures fronted by web services. Our objective is to re-architect these into a unified, streamlined platform.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement a manifest-driven approach to map the current target state; propose and implement schema changes as needed.
  • Design and evolve models across relational, graph, and NoSQL databases to ensure seamless data integration.
  • Refactor Oracle PL/SQL logic and deliver migrations, pipelines, and automated tests to enhance efficiency.
  • Build and optimize solutions on AWS (RDS, S3, Lambda, ECS, EKS, IAM, Neptune if applicable) to maximize scalability.
  • Automate validations and CI/CD steps using Python and Groovy to streamline the development process.
  • Collaborate with IAM, API, and platform teams to ensure compliance, auditability, and secure entitlements.
