Job Description

This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned Foreman/Site Manager to join our client, a mid-tier contractor, on a prestigious heritage project. As a key member of the project team, you will be responsible for:

  • Liaising with colleagues and clients to ensure smooth project execution
  • Supervising construction workers and subcontractors to maintain high-quality workmanship
  • Managing site resources, including materials and equipment, to optimize project efficiency
  • Monitoring build costs and project progress, identifying areas for improvement
  • Reporting to senior management on project status and performance
  • Conducting quality and safety inspections to ensure compliance with regulations
  • Maintaining accurate records and reports, including site reports, designs, and drawings
  • Motivating the workforce to achieve project goals and objectives

Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of 3 years' experience as a Foreman or Site Manager
  • Experience working on heritage projects or similar complex constructions
  • Proven skills in project management, team leadership, and problem-solving
  • A strong understanding of construction processes, procedures, and regulations
