About This Role

We are seeking an experienced and skilled APAC ANZ Sub-Regional Construction Director to join our team at Microsoft. This is a critical leadership role that will be responsible for providing strategic direction and oversight for the construction of data centers in the Australia and New Zealand region.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of successfully delivering large-scale construction projects, with a strong focus on safety, quality, schedule, and budget. They will also possess excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams to achieve exceptional results.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide strategic direction and oversight for the construction of data centers in the Australia and New Zealand region
  • Develop and implement effective project management plans, ensuring timely completion of projects while maintaining high standards of quality and safety
  • Lead and manage cross-functional teams, including engineering, supply chain, and project controls, to ensure seamless execution of projects
  • Analyze and recommend innovative delivery options, utilizing best practices and trends to drive cost-effective solutions
  • Identify and mitigate project risks, ensuring alignment with organizational procedures and industry standards
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including engineering, supply chain, and project controls, to drive project success and achieve business objectives

  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple projects simultaneously
  • Strong technical knowledge of construction principles, practices, and regulations
Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of $180,000 - $220,000 per year, depending on experience. In addition to a base salary, you will also receive a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) matching, and paid time off.
