Garden and Building Maintenance Role

As a skilled maintenance professional, you will play a key role in maintaining the college's exceptional green spaces.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Daily review of work requests to ensure efficient task completion.
  • Maintenance of gardens through weeding, trimming tree branches, spreading mulch and soft fall as directed by site managers.
  • Preparation for college events, such as exams and exhibitions.
  • Identification and prompt resolution of any maintenance or grounds issues.
  • Provision of a tidy and organized maintenance compound.
  • Planting of trees and shrubs as directed, ensuring proper care and maintenance.
  • Lawn mowing, blowing and line trimming services.
  • Performance of various laboring tasks on and occasionally off campus.
Requirements:
  • Experience in gardening, landscaping or outdoor maintenance is preferred.
  • Physical fitness, with ability to lift, bend, kneel and work in all weather conditions.
  • Beneficial experience using power tools.
  • Reliability, motivation, team focus and strong attention to detail.
  • Able to follow instructions and complete tasks to a high standard.
