As a Sales Executive with Courtyard by Marriott, you will be responsible for identifying and securing new group and catering opportunities, working with other operational disciplines to secure conferences, meetings, and events, and preparing detailed proposals and contracts tailored to client requirements.

About the Role

  • Identify and secure new group & catering opportunities
  • Work with other operational disciplines to secure conferences, meetings and events
  • Prepare detailed proposals and contracts that are tailored to client requirements,
  • Plan and conduct high end site inspections and entertainment with a focus on conversion and welcoming our experienced travelers
  • Support the hotel's service and relationship strategy, driving customer loyalty by being passionate, forward and inviting through each customer experience
  • Use negotiating skills and creative selling abilities to close on business and negotiate contracts
  • Build and strengthen relationships with existing and new customers to enable future bookings
  • Act as a Courtyard by Marriott Hotel ambassador and promote awareness on the hotel

About You

  • Relevant experience in a similar role
  • Working rights in Australia

  • Experience in admin-based roles of similar
