The Nurse Educator is a Registered Nurse who is accountable at an advanced practice level for the design, implementation, and assessment of nursing education programs, managing educational resources and providing nursing expertise related to educational issues within Central Queensland Hospital and Health Service.
The Nurse Educator leads and supports a culture of development and enquiry which actively encourages and facilitates clinical, professional, and organisational learning.
Key Responsibilities- Design, implement, and assess nursing education programs.
- Manage educational resources and provide nursing expertise related to educational issues.
- Lead and support a culture of development and enquiry.
- Possess a Bachelor of Nursing or equivalent.
- Current registration as a Registered Nurse with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) and a current annual practising certificate.
Total remuneration value of up to $82,105 p.a. is comprised of:
- An hourly rate between $72.58 p.h.
- 12.75% employer superannuation contribution
- 17.5% leave loading
