Job Overview

A distinguished Obstetrics and Gynaecology Specialist is required to provide exceptional leadership and support within a multi-disciplinary team at our Hobart clinical facility. The ideal candidate will possess outstanding skills and qualifications, as well as the ability to guide doctors in training.

Our Facility

As one of Tasmania's major clinical teaching and research centres, we work closely with the University of Tasmania and other institutions to deliver high-quality services to approximately 240,000 people. Our hospital features 550 physical beds, including 460 acute overnight and 90 day beds.

Requirements

  • Current registration with AHPRA or eligibility for registration
  • A minimum of 12 months recent experience as an O&G Consultant in Australia, the UK, Ireland, Canada, NZ, or South Africa
  • Eligibility for or possession of FRANZCOG certification
  • Active participation in the RANZCOG training program
  • International Medical Graduates (IMGs) with a scheduled RANZCOG interview date or assessed by RANZCOG and found to be partially or substantially comparable
