Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced forklift operator to become a vital part of our Distribution Centre team. In this role, you will be tasked with the safe and efficient transportation of goods within a bustling warehouse environment. The ideal candidate will possess a solid background in forklift operation, attention to detail, and a strong emphasis on safety protocols.

This position requires flexibility to support our afternoon shifts during peak periods, with a minimum availability of four days per week, including some weekends. Shift schedules may include:

  • 11am-6:30pm (off-peak)
  • 1:30pm-9:30pm (peak)

This role is temporary, with the possibility of transitioning to a permanent position upon successful completion of the contract. Our Distribution Centre is conveniently located near public transport options.

Candidate Requirements

  • Availability for at least four days per week, including some weekends.
  • Possession of a valid Forklift License and prior experience in forklift operation.
  • Ability to adhere to safety instructions and protocols.
  • Strong communication skills for effective teamwork.
  • Excellent time management abilities to meet operational deadlines.
  • Physical fitness to handle the demands of a physically intensive role.

Safety Standards

Successful candidates will be required to provide and wear appropriate safety footwear during all shifts. A high-visibility uniform will be supplied.
