Chief Technology Strategist

The Defence Digital Group (DDG) is seeking an Enterprise Architect to contribute to the design of Defence's evolving technology ecosystem and supporting strategic frameworks.
We are looking for a candidate who can lead a team of ICT capability-focused professionals in a fast-paced, geographically dispersed environment. The successful candidate will have strong communication skills, leadership skills, and experience in enterprise architecture roles.
Key responsibilities include:
- Developing and maintaining relationships with technical workforce, capability managers, and project teams.
- Leading a team of ICT capability-focused professionals.
- Documenting and communicating strategic architectures to clients and delivering impactful technology transformation solutions.
- Interpreting and managing the unique architecture of the Defence environment.
- Driving ways to improve ICT maturity across all Defence.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of enterprise IT infrastructure, software platforms, and Cloud environments. Experience in modelling and graphic representations of technical concepts is also essential.
We are looking for candidates who are adaptable, resilient, and willing to learn and excel in a dynamic environment. Additional professionalisation, training, and development will be offered to successful candidates.
