About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Corporate Communications Specialist to join our Strategic Communications team.

The successful candidate will work collaboratively with the Corporate Communications Manager and the Corporate Affairs team to develop external communications strategies and initiatives that align with our organization's goals.

This role involves delivering a range of external communications that execute on our narrative and are aligned to our brand voice for various external audiences.

Responsibilities may include:

  • Developing and delivering board and executive speeches, corporate reports, presentations and speaking points, key messaging, opinion pieces, feature articles, news stories, web content and high-level correspondence.

About You

To be considered for this role, you will have:

  • SIGNIFICANT EXPERIENCE IN A SIMILAR ROLE WITH A DEGREE IN COMMUNICATIONS, PUBLIC RELATIONS OR EQUIVALENT.
  • STRONG JOURNALISTIC, STORYTELLING, COPYWRITING AND EDITING SKILLS WITH EXPERIENCE IN SIMPLIFYING COMPLEX MATTERS FOR DIFFERENT AUDIENCES.
  • DEMONSTRATED ABILITY TO CLEARLY ARTICULATE CONCEPTS AND IDEAS IN A WAY THAT WILL PERSUADE, CONVINCE AND INFLUENCE OTHERS, INCLUDING THE ABILITY TO WRITE USING PLAIN LANGUAGE.
  • EXCELLENT PROJECT AND TIME MANAGEMENT SKILLS WITH ABILITY TO WORK INDEPENDENTLY AND WITH INITIATIVE TO MEET TIGHT DEADLINES.
