About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Landscaping Crew Member to join our team at McLean Farms, a diversified family-owned agri-business based in Pittsworth, 30 minutes Southwest of Toowoomba.

Key Responsibilities
  • Regular mowing and maintenance of grassed areas to ensure a well-manicured appearance.
  • Effective control of vegetation through precise spraying and application of herbicides.
  • Establishment and maintenance of new plants, garden beds, and trees to enhance the aesthetic appeal of our poultry sites.
  • Installation and maintenance of irrigation systems to optimize water efficiency.
  • Regular maintenance of equipment and vehicles to ensure optimal performance.
  • Operation of machinery, including tractors and slashers, as required.
  • Additional duties may include pest control and livestock management.
Requirements
  • Current valid driver's license.
  • Desirable but not essential: HR license and experience with slasher/tractor operation.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong interpersonal skills for effective communication with internal and external contacts.
  • Willingness to adhere to health and safety, biosecurity, and operational requirements.
  • Reliability, punctuality, and motivation are essential.
