About the Role:

Anaesthesiologist

Latrobe Regional Health is seeking a highly skilled Anaesthesiologist to join our team. As a specialist in perioperative medicine, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Participate actively in the effective function of the department and co-operate with other members in the provision of patient care.
  • Provide clinical expertise and excellent service in anaesthesia and perioperative medicine.
  • Supervise junior medical and other relevant staff within the Unit/Department.
  • Support Latrobe Regional Health's quality, monitoring and improvement initiatives.
  • Support LRH teaching, research and clinical governance programs.
  • Support the strategic priorities and values & beliefs of LRH.

Requirements:

  • Legally qualified medical practitioners, registered or registrable with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) without conditions, undertakings, or reprimands that could impact on their clinical practice.
  • Fellowship of the Australian & New Zealand College of Anaesthetists (or eligible for fellowship via the recognition of equivalent training pathway).
  • Meets LRH requirements for credentialing and scope of practice in anaesthesia.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work well as part of a team.
  • Demonstrable relevant knowledge and experience in anaesthesia.
