About the Role:

The Commercial Manager – Retirement Living is a key position within our organisation, responsible for providing commercial advice and business support to the Retirement Living General Manager and stream leadership team.

As a senior commercial professional, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the commercial effectiveness of our operations and ensuring financial and commercial outcomes are achieved.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide commercial advice and business support to the Retirement Living General Manager and stream leadership team.
  • Deliver accurate, meaningful, and insightful reporting of key financial and operational metrics and KPIs.
  • Lead the annual budget, Capex, and rolling forecast process.
  • Review and assist with commercial contracts and documentation.
  • Develop and implement revenue strategies for Retirement Living.
  • Utilise data-driven insights to drive financial performance and identify opportunities and risks.
  • Lead financial analysis and due diligence for merger and acquisition opportunities.
  • Provide guidance and assistance to Retirement Living managers on financial matters.

About You:

  • Degree in business, commerce, finance, or a related field.
  • CA or CPA qualified.
  • A minimum of 5 years' experience in a commercial analyst/management role, preferably in the retirement living/property sector.
  • Strong financial and analytical skills, with proven experience in using data and insights to support decision-making.
  • Advanced skills in communication, presentation, and stakeholder management.
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • Demonstrated skill and knowledge in commercial contract negotiations.
  • Experience with data visualisation tools such as Power BI or Tableau are highly advantageous.
  • Valid Driver's Licence and commitment to travel including interstate.
