About the Role:

bestchance Child Family Care is a non-for-profit organisation seeking an exceptional Speech Pathologist (Level 2-3) with a positive and proactive approach to join our dedicated Children's Therapy team.

You will work as part of a transdisciplinary Key Worker Model with a team of Allied Health professionals. Providing high quality services, integrating the developmental and therapeutic needs of children, to increase children's meaningful participation in daily life.

This role will focus on building the capacity of children, families and communities through individual and group clinical work (both in clinic and in the community).

We are currently recruiting to multiple positions, with flexibility on time fractions ranging from part-time 3 days per week to full-time hours.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement effective therapy plans that cater to the diverse needs of children aged 0-10 years
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive care and support to children and their families
  • Provide education and training to families, carers and other healthcare professionals on various aspects of child development and speech pathology
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation of client interactions, progress and outcomes
Requirements:
  • Eligible membership with Speech Pathology Australia (SPA)
  • Valid driver's licence and access to a vehicle
  • Satisfactory National/International Criminal History Check and NDIS Screening Clearance
  • Ability to develop rapport and positive working relationships with stakeholders and families from diverse backgrounds
