Job Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled professional to fill the role of Security Operations Coordinator. This position is ideal for an individual with experience in data centre security and control room operations.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Promptly respond to client requests, providing effective solutions and support
  • Conduct regular checks on CCTV systems to ensure optimal performance
  • Coordinate guard dispatch, manage rosters, and cover shift requirements as needed
  • Brief security officers on site protocols and maintain accurate records
  • Report any non-compliance issues to maintain high service standards
  • Supervise security officers in the absence of the Site Manager
  • Manage contractors to ensure safety and compliance with regulations
  • Act as the primary point of contact for access approvals, works commencement, and incident resolution
  • Foster strong relationships with clients, providing exceptional customer service
  • Encourage project teams to adhere to established governance protocols
  • Monitor and report potential risks and hazards
  • Lead emergency response efforts, acting as Chief Fire Warden
Requirements
  • Demonstrated experience in a similar role or equivalent security background
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Able to work effectively in a team or independently
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing circumstances and priorities
  • Strong analytical and reporting skills, with proficiency in Microsoft programs
  • Good understanding of access control systems, CCTV, and alarm monitoring
  • Ability to walk and stand for extended periods, with a valid NSW Security License (Monitoring Subclass)
  • Crowd Control endorsement highly desirable; current First Aid & CPR Certificate required
