In this role, you will work closely with the Category or Marketing teams to provide financial insights and support effective management and strategic decision-making.

Key responsibilities include partnering with Heads of Category or Marketing in strategy development and execution, ensuring all initiatives are grounded in sound financial criteria.

You will also be responsible for financial planning, including building and managing commercial controllable assumptions and factors in collaboration with Channel Finance Business Partners and FP&A.

This includes tracking, measuring, and adapting agreed plans to deliver against strategy.

You will have a deep understanding of supply chain drivers, NPI strategic fit, brand profitability, and marketing investment.

Additionally, you will support 3-10 year projections and long-term planning for future investments, monitoring progress against priorities.

You will actively manage and track capital investments across categories and/or marketing initiatives.

This role requires identifying and adopting process simplification and cost efficiencies to enable innovation and investment growth funding.

You will provide analyses, evaluations, and implications of key learnings to inform future best practices.

To succeed in this position, you will have proven experience in a finance business partnering role within a complex and large organisation, ideally within FMCG and/or Retail.

A Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants (CA) or a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) would be beneficial.
