Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide specialist advice and oversight on compliance & conduct risk across AUSPAC, as well as partner with internal stakeholders to embed a robust compliance control environment and drive outcomes.
  • Develop and implement methodologies to assess, measure, and report compliance & conduct risks.
  • Own, develop, and monitor compliance policies and procedures, ensuring effective implementation.
  • Deliver data-driven insights to monitor compliance and conduct risk appetite and drive action.
  • Support the implementation of regulatory changes and continuous improvement in complaints management, claims handling, and product governance.
  • Support Risk Committees in managing compliance & conduct responsibilities.
  • Design and deliver training programs to enhance awareness of compliance risks.
  • Work with partners in Line 2 and Line 1 to ensure that regulatory requirements are understood, documented, and substantively met.

  • A strong track record of compliance & conduct expertise, preferably in insurance, with experience embedding robust frameworks.
  • Ability to communicate complex compliance concepts in a clear, jargon-free manner.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence senior leaders.
  • Strategic thinking, with the ability to see the bigger picture while managing day-to-day compliance activities.
