Job Title

We are seeking a compassionate and caring individual to support our clients in their daily lives.

This role involves accompanying clients on outings, assisting with personal care and household tasks, and providing social interaction and companionship.

The ideal candidate will have a Certificate 3 in Individual Support or a similar qualification, previous experience in aged care or disability, and relevant skills and qualifications.

  • Accompany clients during daily activities
  • Assist with food preparation and shopping
  • Perform personal care and hygiene tasks
  • Undertake household tasks such as cleaning and laundry
  • Provide social interaction and companionship
  • Transport clients to appointments

About You

As a Community Support Worker, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care and support to our clients. To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Hold a Certificate 3 in Individual Support or a similar qualification - essential
  • Previous experience in aged care or disability – at least one year
  • Hold a NDIS clearance or be willing to obtain it
  • Hold a COVID-19 Vaccination
  • Current Police Check or be willing to obtain it
  • Current First Aid Certificate including CPR or be willing to obtain it
  • Own a car and relevant insurances
  • Dementia care qualification – desirable
  • Proficient verbal and written communication skills
