Job Title: Facility Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to fill the role of Facility Supervisor.

This is an exciting opportunity to work closely with the community and support young Tasmanians in need.

Job Description:

The successful candidate will be responsible for undertaking maintenance functions, maintaining grounds and gardens, as well as providing limited on-call assistance to students outside normal business hours.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Undertaking routine maintenance tasks;
  • Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene throughout the facility;
  • Providing exceptional customer service and support to students and staff.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, applicants must possess:

  • A strong understanding of maintenance principles and practices;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team;
  • High level of physical fitness and ability to perform manual tasks;
  • Current Tasmanian Working with Vulnerable People Registration (employment/volunteer category);
  • Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check (National Police Check) that is no older than 12 months;
  • Provision of a satisfactory Anglicare assessed medical; and,
  • Current provisional or full Australian Driver Licence.
