About the Role

The Wellness, Health and Safety (WHS) Business Partner will contribute to Navitas' commitment to promoting employee and student wellbeing across the University Partnerships Australasia division, ensuring the health and safety of everyone who works, learns or visits with us.

This role requires a pragmatic WHS Business Partner/Specialist with at least 5 years of WHS partnering experience, who can operate independently with little day-to-day direction.

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to make this role their own and demonstrate value add to the business.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement WHS programs
  • Contribute to the enhancement of Navitas' commitment to promoting employee and student wellbeing
  • Ensure the health and safety of everyone who works, learns or visits with us
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to tailor, implement and embed programs and initiatives
  • Provide exceptional WHS leadership and stakeholder management skills across all levels
  • Negotiate and work collaboratively with workplace representation
  • Maintain strong working relationships with external parties, including unions, regulators and industry bodies
