The role of a Nurse Practitioner involves providing expert clinical advice and support to Registered Nurses-Authorized Prescribers (RN-APs). Responsibilities:
- Provide clinical consultation to RN-APs.
- Serve as the Medical Reviewer (MRP) when required.
- Perform comprehensive health assessments, diagnose health conditions, and develop treatment plans.
- Promote seamless care transitions and referrals when needed.
Education and Experience:
A Master's degree in Nursing-Advanced Practice Stream is required. A minimum of 5 years of advanced clinical practice experience is also necessary. Experience in collaborative practice and consultation is preferred.
