Job Opportunity: Lead Architect

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Architect to establish and lead the architectural function for a local organisation undertaking a significant transformation. In this key leadership role, you will be responsible for developing the technology roadmap, ensuring architectural governance, and driving continuous improvement across the transformation program.

The Opportunity

We are looking for a talented Senior Architect to join our team at NewyTechPeople. As a key member of our organisation, you will work closely with business units and technical teams to ensure that the systems and infrastructure align with the organisational goals and deliver effective, scalable solutions.

About You

As the Lead Architect, you will provide expert advice on setting up the architecture function, in addition to being hands-on in designing solutions that maximise return on investment for the business. You will be able to articulate and establish the processes and governance, and demonstrate how to implement complex concepts and solutions.

You will build a team and provide leadership and mentorship to permanent staff members and contractors, contributing to their capability uplift. A key aspect of this role will be managing complex stakeholder relationships, ensuring effective communication, negotiation, and issue management to meet project deliverables.

Your Experience

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in architectural frameworks such as TOGAF and familiarity with modern cloud technologies like AWS, and Azure. Experience with software development lifecycles, cybersecurity frameworks, and cloud-native solutions is highly desirable, as is experience with Salesforce.
