">We are seeking an experienced Accommodation Manager to oversee the daily operations of our centre, ensuring the wellbeing and safety of transferees, accommodation, and administration functions meet contractual requirements and organisational standards.
">About the Role:
">This role involves building and maintaining effective working relationships with team members, transferees, and stakeholders. You will lead a team of supervisors and employees, promoting an open and inclusive environment through regular engagement and motivation.
">You will be responsible for approving, initiating, interpreting, revising, and enforcing policies and directives to ensure efficient management of the department. Additionally, you will provide proper safeguards, making regular scheduled and unscheduled physical inspections to ensure appropriate safety and welfare within the work areas.
">The ideal candidate will have proven management experience within regional processing and resettlement services. A formal qualification in management or a related field is preferred, although significant experience may be considered if formal qualification is not held.
">Key Responsibilities:
">- Oversight of wellbeing and safety of transferees, accommodation, and administration functions in accordance with contractual requirements and organisational standards.
- Leadership and motivation of supervisors and employees, engaging regularly with teams to promote an open and inclusive environment.
- Approving, initiating, interpreting, revising, and enforcing policies and directives to ensure efficient management of the department.
- Providing proper safeguards and making regular scheduled and unscheduled physical inspections to ensure appropriate safety and welfare of inmates/transferees, employees, and visitors within the work areas.
