Rigging Equipment Specialist

As a highly skilled Rigging Equipment Specialist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our rigging equipment testing facility at Bibra Lake. We are seeking an experienced professional to join our Heavy Lift team on a 5:2 roster.
About the RoleIn this key position, you will be responsible for performing daily tasks associated with running the rigging equipment testing facility. Your primary duties will include:
- Conducting thorough inspections and testing of rigging equipment to meet NATA certification standards;
- Carrying out repairs to all types of rigging equipment in accordance with relevant standards;
- Assembling and maintaining rigging equipment such as chain slings;
- Managing inventory control and conducting stocktakes;
- Receiving and processing incoming equipment and materials;
- Picking, packing, and dispatching equipment to required destinations.
You will work closely with our experienced engineering team and utilize your knowledge of NATA compliance and Australian standards to ensure the highest level of quality and safety.
What You'll BringTo succeed in this role, you will need:
- A minimum of 2-3 years' experience as a Rigging Inspector;
- A valid Australian Driver's Licence (HR);
- A High Risk Work Licence (RA, DG);
- A White Card;
- Knowledge of NATA compliance and procedures, as well as relevant Australian standards;
- Experience working in a warehouse/stores environment;
- Excellent written skills, with the ability to prepare reports, documents, and certificates.
We offer a competitive salary package estimated to be around AU$90,000 per annum, based on industry standards and location.
